Toosdae ?'s

Good morning! Sorry I'm posting this weeks questions a little later than normal...

1. What did you do for Memorial Day weekend?

2. Are you best when you lead, follow or when you are out of the way?

3. What do you value most in people?

1. I spent the weekend at my parents house in CT. We played in the pool, drank beer and tequila and had lots of bbq''d food. It was great fun.

2. I think it depends on the situation. I feel like I am a good leader and enjoy it, but I also love following a good leader and helping them be the best they can be. Either way, I like being a part of a team, so staying out of the way isn't my style.

3. Honesty/Trustworthiness

1. We went over to Detroit to do some visiting. Spent Sunday at the zoo with a WoW friend and her family, then dropped off a baby gift for another friend that we haven't seen in ages. It was a good time!

2. I just do the best I can no matter what role I'm expected to play. I really couldn't say what I'm best at!

3. Dependability

Happy Toosdae!

1. What did I do for Memorial Day Weekend: - I finished up some yard work, went to the beach, and visited my family. All great fun in the sun.

2. I am best when I follow. I try too hard when I lead.

3. I value honesty the most. With honesty comes trust.

1. I spent much of the weekend lolling about the house - but I did manage to get in a round of golf and spent two evenings rooting the Blackhawks on to victory.

2. I am best when I lead - but mostly I try to stay out of the way. When one leads, too often one becomes a target.

3. What do I value most in people? The ability to genuinely care about others.

1. I worked but we did a small cook-out at work with steak, green salad, corn, potato salad, and lemon meringue pie (I provided the last two). It was quite nice though would have been better had phones not rang while we were trying to eat!

2. I'm probably not the best follower in the world but I can be if I have a good leader. I'm definitely NOT good at staying out of the way!

3. Honesty and a good sense of humor always helps!

1. I worked A LOT, but also got to spend time getting to know my neighbor at a backyard cookout. Then I learned how to cook rissoto (sp?)

2. Depending on the situation- I mostly a leader, but I can follow someone's guidance. Unless Im camping and there is a Bear, then I' ou tof the way. I dont have to outrun the bear, just my friends.

3. Honesty and trust are also most important to me.

1- Went to an annual reunion with D's family Friday/Saturday and then came home and hung out at my mom's house with my sister and her kids who came from out of town. And had a family Bday party for my little Ella. 8 years old, bless her!

2- I am much like you. I'm a good leader, but I'm also and excellent support to a good leader. I'm definitely not much of an "out of the way" kind of girl.

Carrie: I've never actually seen you at work, but knowing the stories you've told me, I'm guessing you're a pretty darned good leader.

Nikole: Trust is a big one for sure. I'm sorry you had to work!

GW: I'm learning so much about you these last couple of weeks! I would have thought leader for you...but I guess I can see it now.

Lou: Yes-that ability to care is very important and I think very under rated-caring about someone who can't give themselves over is NOT fun!!

Linda: I KNEW your answer to the first one...not the pie part but the work part...sadly.

B1: Yes, you did work a lot! :( And yeah...I KNOW your bear story. Just remember MY honey story!!!! :)

Clancy: I think your Ella and my Rye Bread would have fun together. But...how did they turn 8 already?!!??!

1. We did some things around the house, watched some movies and some sports, and had some good food.

2. If I have the expertise, I'm comfortable leading. If I don't, then I'm comfortable contributing in any way I can be of service. I prefer not to be out of the way, but if that's the spot where I can make the best contribution, then that's where I'll be.

3. Compassion and tolerance.

1. Time with family
2. I'm the best darn follower you've ever had, but I seem to be chosen as a leader, alot. I much prefer to be a follower or behind the scenes person.
3. Honesty... without that there is no trust.

1. I traveled by car most of the weekend.

2. I'm a great follower... especially when dancing. If a man knows what he's doing I can make us both look like great dancers. If he doesn't, we both look like idiots. Alas, I married the latter. We don't dance much.

3. Sincerity and open mindedness.
