Chicago Dogs

I am on the verge of booking an impromptu trip to Chicago...not SO impromptu-it would be in a few weeks, but it's still pretty last minute.  What do you think?  Should I do it?

Have any of you been to Chicago?  Is there anything you think I HAVE to see while I am there?

But you knew that. :)

Be spontaneous! As long as you'll be safe! (cause it'd be with a boy you never met, right?)

I've been there once and all I saw was Navy Pier and the Hancock Building. Both were pretty cool though.

Lois's suggestion for food is perfect if she included a nice deep dish pizza

you can go to the observation deck on the Sears Building (now called willis tower)

bring plenty of warm clothing - it is not called the windy city for nothing

drive through lower wacker drive where they rebuilt the city on top of what was left over after the fire

the shedd aquarium is cool

If --that is IF is is semi-warm, take a they have boat trips on the river through the city

HAVE to go by Wrigley Field and take a picture out front

There's a teddy bear museum. No really.

Also, I wish I knew the name of it but there's a cute italian place I ate at when I went out there. That was fun.

Navy Pier is pretty, but you're not going in the spring or summer, so it might not be as fun.

Also - IT WILL BE COLD - so bundle up, missy!

The Sears Tower is a must, it's SO HIGH UP. Also FAO Schwarz, because it's enormous.

There was a 50's style restaurant there that I can't remember the name of, very tasty food. AH... Ed Debevic's. We always went there when we were in Chicago for vacations!

Have a great time!
