Toosdae ?'s

1. What was the very first pet you ever had? How long did you have them? (She's not my first but really, why would I not post her sweet face again?!)

2. Do you have any desire to have an exotic or non-traditional pet? If so, what would you like?

3. Do you have any fun/weird animal stories? If so, please share one. :)

1. I don't remember which came first but when I was in nursery school I had 2 parakeets, 1 golden retriever (named Christopher Robin), fish and African frogs.

2. I don't really aspire to own a weird pet, though if I had the energy, time, space and money I would like to have farm animals. Mainly cows. I love cows.

3. I once rode an elephant in a gas station in NY. And a goat at my name tag off of my shirt at the Catskill Game Farm.

1. We had a buff-colored Cocker Spaniel named Buffy. Yeah, my mom was original. He was technically around before I was. The first pet to come -after- him was a stray we found in a parking lot around Christmas. We named her Holly.

2. I want a snake. Also a chinchilla, some lizards of various types.. I like reptiles and fuzzy things. Also a horse.

3. Let's see, there's the time my kindergarten class took a field trip to a turkey farm and I fell on my butt in turkey poop. Also the time my parents took me to Chincoteague Island for a vacation because I was in love with the book "Misty of Chincoteague". There were ponies for sale next to our hotel and I begged and begged my dad for one. My mom took a picture of me on my knees in front of the paddock and my dad peering into his wallet, it's pretty cute. XD

1. I had a goldfish. Named it Ursula. Won it at a school festival (and named it after the school). It lived a week.

2. Don't have a good track record with plants (and the goldfish above), don't want to subject a living thing to my bad luck.

3. Most of my stories involved bugs. I hate bugs.

[shudder]

My parents were taking a tour of a historical home in FL. They parked the rental car under a banyan tree. It started thunderstorming at which time a HUGE palmetto bug appeared on the dashboard. I promptly exited the car and stayed out in the storm while the parents were doing the tour...and the bug remained in the car... warm and dry

The first pet that was allowed in the house was our cat, Midnight. She was a Christmas present (thought we picked her out the day after Christmas) for my brother and I. Jet black, and beautiful. We had her for at least 10 years.

No. We have fish, that's as exotic as we're going to get. But if I could, I'd get an American Bulldog!!!

Not really, not very versed in pet stories. We had two cats,(not at the same time) and fish. That's all we ever had.

1. We had a little black dog named Foxy. I don't know what happened to him when my parents got divorced. Asking Dad gets an answer something like, "your mother got the dog in the divorce just to spite me," which might be true because asking Mom gets a very nocommital kind of, "I don't know"... and that's why I try hard to get along with my ex. Also, I do wonder what happened to our dog.

2. I like goats. I had a pigmy goat for a while in my twenties... I know that's weird, but I'm a little weird. We had a hatchback that we'd take to the farm to buy hay and put one small square bale in the back. The farmer would laugh and laugh. He probably charged me double because I didn't know any better.

3. See #1 and #2.

The first pet I remember was a black cat called Spooky. I don't really remember how long we had him...I was little.

2. No desire.

3. Nope.
