Ruby Tuesday Signs

Mary asked for signs for today's Ruby Tuesday. This is an Asian market in the Boston area. I've heard it is a cool place for cheap produce and weird ingredients, as well as some good dim sum. When I walked in yesterday however, I was overcome by the smell and felt as though I needed to hurl. Needless to say, I did not get anything to eat...

On a somewhat abstract note, here is a sign that I need to take down my Christmas decorations:

Bummer about the market. Asian markets are great, but not always for the faint of heart... (Thankfully mine doesn't have fresh produce, just easily browsable dry goods.)

One of the things I miss about NYC is the little Asian markets with wonderful fresh vegetables. Sorry it wasn't the wonderful experience you expected.

Great signs, mags! I'm hoping you get a job real soon. Can't imagine someone who meets you not wanting to hire you! Good luck!

Yeah, I have that problem with overpowering scents myself. Even the small Chinese market here in Norwich is enough to do me in!

At least you got the photo out of the experience. As a young child, my mom would drag me into a fish market with a stench that made me cry. It is amazing that I like to eat fish.

there is virtually the very same market near me and I have the same reaction - I wear a scarf saturated with a light scent and breath it in a lot
