Toosdae ?'s

Today is one of the most important days in America-Election Day. I am on my way to the booth in just a few minutes and can't wait to proudly exercise my freedom and right to vote. I hope and pray that if you are American and over 18 that you too, will be voting because if you don't, you are ultimately showing that you do not care about our great country. And also, you can get free coffee from Starbucks if you vote. If you are unclear as to where exactly you should go, click here to find your voting location.

1. What is your favorite red food, white food and blue food?

2. What is your favorite freedom?

3. Did you, or are you planning on voting today?

1. Strawberries, Extra Sharp Vermont White Cheddar Cheese, Blueberry Pie

2. Even though this is my question, it's a hard one to answer. The most prevalent in my life and one that's near and dear to my heart is the freedom of speech. If I was not allowed to tell my story, I'm not sure I would be where I am today.

3. I am leaving in my apartment in just a few minutes to cast my vote and then getting me some free coffee! :)

1. Parfait. Ain't nobody don't like no parfait. (Blueberries, strawberries, whipped cream)

2. As a woman, I appreciate all of my freedoms because women in other countries don't have them.

3. Voted this morning!!! :)

1. red = Hawaiian Punch (that's food, right?)
white = cottage cheese
blue = now, you told me there was no such thing as a blue food (yes, I do pay attention once in a while!!!) but I will say blueberry pie, even though you told me that blueberries are culinarily purple!

2. Freedom of speech.

3. I'm going in a few minutes. I just watched Barack Obama, the next president of the United States, vote on television. Today is about hope. And change.
And a future we can believe in.

OH - and DARN you and your free coffeeeeeeeee!

Sending LOVE
mo

1. Red food: sambal goreng kering (an Indonesian dish made with fried potatoes). White food: milk. Blue food: duh...I dunno.

2. The RIGHT TO VOTE baby!

3. I voted several weeks ago with an early, mail-in ballot. I could have dropped it at the polls, but I didn't want to stand in line just to turn in a ballot.

Oh, as I'm Swedish can I please state my favourite blue and yellow food?;) Otherwise it would be raspberries, milk in my tea and blueberry pie.

Of course I vote, here in Sweden that is, today I "just" hold my fingers crossed for a wise and good outcome of your election instead!

1. red for strawberries, white for whipped cream, and blue for blueberries.
2. I like them all, as we did not have them during communism in Czech. But my fave is the Freedom of Speech.
3. Did it this morning :o)

strawberries, cream cheese, blue corn chips (with red salsa)

freedom of religion. We can believe or not, as we like. That's important to me.

will do. Just as soon as I can.

I've gotta say, I'm kind of put off by the fact that you plaster Obama all over here, yet when I ask you WHY you vote that way you won't answer. I am curious. I do NOT want to start any arguments. But I really am curious. Oh well.

1. Red: Raspberries White: Bread and Blue: Blueberry Martini (that counts, right?)

2. Favorite? As if one is worth more than the other. As a blogger I'd like to say Freedom of speech. As an American I'd have to say the Right to Bear Arms.

3. Oh yes - election day is more exciting than Christmas for me! :)

Frigga: I'm sorry you are put off by me showing support for Obama. I only do it on my own blog, or on those blogs that I know also support him. I do not wish to get into debates about politics as I've lost a few friends during this election for that very fact and so I choose not to answer. I know it may seem silly, but really, there are 3 people that are no longer friends with me b/c of my beliefs and choices which is sad, considering it's my right.

I hope you understand. If not, I am sorry.

1. Strawberry shortcake; New York Style cheesecake (it's sort of white); and blueberry pie (notice the dessert theme I have going?)

2. The freedom to voice my opinion (hopefully in a way that other people don't get offended by or that others can agree to disagree with).

3. Already voted. Waited about 30 minutes in line to do so but I figure it upholds my Constitutional Right to Complain if nothing else. I haven't missed an election since 1976 when I was first old enough to vote and I'm not about to start now.

a fruit and custard tart..with strawberries and blue berries! (the cheese custard is white-ish)

My American Freedom. (smile)

Yes absolutely!

1. Strawberry margaritas, mashed potatoes, blueberry cheesecake!

2. This is hard to say. I haven't felt all that free lately, due to money issues and all that, so it's difficult to choose. I guess freedom TO choose is the best I'm going to get!

3. Yep! Just got home :D

1. I'm with Ivanhoe...red for strawberries, white for whipped cream, and blue for blueberries.

2. Love freedom of speech, religion... all of them! How the heck do you choose? But I must say that my favorite is the right to keep and bear arms. When they try to take that away, this girl will bear them.

3. Planning on it in just a few minutes.

1. Gosh, I don't have a ready answer for this question. Let's see: Red = let's say strawberries; Blue = blueberry muffins; White = cream cheese.

2. I love all my freedoms and make no distinction for a favorite.

3. I voted.

So...usually I'm the one who makes you all hungry with my posts-but today it was the other way around!! I am totally craving fresh fruit tarts and cheesecake now!!!

Topped with whipped cream. Yum. :)

Thanks for playing this week everyone-it's encouraging to see you all coming back faithfully, even though I've not been blogging a lot.

Oh, and no matter who you voted for, I'm so very proud of you ALL for voting today.
