Manic Monday's are MoMoLicious*
Marbles Scatter
*
Marbles scatter in my head
the rolling hardly stops.
Until the tiny pill I take
dissolves and finally drops...
*
Then quiet comes and
I relax and things don't seem so bad...
and I can sit and watch my life-
finally return to glad.
*
The sweetness of the summer sun
and soft winds of my face
I can rejoice in simple things,
no longer lost in space.
*
A gentle kiss, a fiery touch,
the breath a lover takes-
each and every passing hour,
sweet memories does this make.
*
The perfect dish, a well placed laugh
a friendly passerby
All these things were masked to me-
I was always one marble shy...

~~~Blessings~~~
Love the poem and I recognize the mood.
Eerie that I am starring at a bag of multicolored marbles that I found yesterday while going through the boxes of small treasures that I inherited from my Mom recently. They were one of the things I decided to keep for myself as I passing things out to my girls. I'll keep them in a crystal bowl on my desk.
My girls were like "What was Grandma doing with marbles?" "Why do you want them Mom?"...perhaps her and I feel that feeling of missing something too...a marble?
Thanks for sharing this moment.
