Thursday Thirteen

Thirteen Things about Whatever I'm Wondering

1. Have you ever wished so hard on a star that you think you might break it?

2. Do you ever think you have broken it because your wish did not come true?

3. How do you start a big process when you don't know if it's the right thing to do.

4. When will you know if it's the right thing or not?

5. Why is it so hard?

6. Why is Sex & the City so addicting and yet I hate them at the same time?

7. Why do I continue to watch it even when I feel like shit after I do?

8. It will never happen, will it?

9. How do I get from here to there? In one piece.

10. How long will my new tax forms take to get here?

11. Where are my angels?

12. Will I get to go to a baseball game this year?

13. Will I be able to sell my house if I need to?

Awww.. such soul-searching questions, Mags. I really wish I could give you the answers, but I haven't figured them out for myself yet.

My opinion on number 6:

Most women are bored with their lives and watching a programme like this gives them some excitement. They, if at least for a little while, can imagine what it would be like to "be them".
There is of course also the sensation mongering...
I once knew a girl who would tell us all those wild stories that had happened in her life. We used to just let her talk because of course we had also seen the TV prgoramme the night before...
Oh well, great TT y the way! :-)

Your angels are all around you. You have four. I don't know why, but you do.

I totally relate to your comments about Sex and the City. I watched all 6 seasons. It was like looking at an accident on the freeway. You just can't help yourself, but feel bad doing it.

As for your angels, they are all around you, but there are more than 4. There are more like 4 gazillion.

Can I put a link in even if I'm not doing Thursady Thirteen? I am doing Threebie Thursday (which I made up, and which is much shorter).

I occasionally buy Hospital Lottery tickets....

I always figure I must have blown my lucky wish or jinxed thought that the chances are one in like 3000.

Hi -- blogger wouldn't let me comment earlier, but I came back!
This was a great TT!
I can empathize with lots of what you're going through - keep the faith and keep wishing on stars.
Things will turn around.

Jeanette said... really made me think about a lot of things...makes my TT sound bo-ring with a capital B.

I can definitely relate to #1.

I think for number three you need to jump in and remind yourself that things will work out. They will, I'm sure of it.
