To Do List: 2006

Instead of making New Year Resolutions that won’t make it past dawn, I’ve decided to make a list of things I need to do more of in 2006. Here are some of them:

Listen
Learn
Appreciate
Thank
Gallop
Remember
Laugh
Dance
Love
Jump
Lend
Teach
Explore
Bake
Respect
Swim
Skip
Whistle
Experiment
Sing
Play
Create
Swing
Giggle

That's great. Often people make their "resolutions" too hard to accomplish. Keeping it simple is a great start - especially when it has to do with such wonderful expressions, attributes, and feelings that you listed.

You can't go wrong with that list.

I like it. :)

Listen - Check. It's built in to my name.

Learn - Kinda goes with the first one. If you listen, you tend to learn. But I'll learn to draw too!

Appreciate - Yep. Too often I take the sunrise for granted.

Thank - All the time.

Gallop - No. I don't plan to do this one at all. You mean on a horse? I've never ridden a horse, and I don't intend to try. They're *HUGE*.

Remember - Tricky, but I'll try.

Laugh - All the time. Gets me in trouble sometimes, but that'll not stop me.

Dance - Nope. Can't dance. Only thing about me is the way that I walk. *sings*

Love - Deeply and long.

Jump - Onto the side (counter) so I can reach the cookies.

Lend - I do this a lot.

Teach - I get scared doing this.

Explore - Always fun.

Bake - Never tried. Must try it sometime. My girly makes great cakes.

Respect - Tricky, this one.

Swim - I don't do that often enough. It's good exercise.

Skip - (and jump)

Whistle - And smile at the same time, that's my party trick.

Experiment - But don't get blown up.

Sing - While I'm washing up.

Play - With kids!

Create - But don't be afraid of creating something ugly. It'll be beautiful to you.

Swing - But don't go over the top.

Giggle - And get in trouble. :)

Good list. I like it a lot!

Owl.

Thanks Guys! I'm glad you like my list.

And yes, Owl, I did mean on a horse. I haven't been horseback riding in a couple of years and would love to go when the weather gets nicer.

I love your list but there are a couple of my own that I want to try to do more of...

1. Forgive

2. Patience

3. Exercise
